Welcome to our Fine Arts Program, where imagination and creativity lead the way!

Pixie Palace is an all-inclusive program for children ages 3- to 5-years-old, and allows children to develop social skills and talent at a young age. All activities are developmentally appropriate for this age group and allow children to develop social skills, body awareness, self-confidence, and routine. We are not a daycare or preschool, but rather a specialty fine arts program building cognitive, social, and emotional awareness.

Join us beginning August 16 for classes from 10 a.m. to noon each Wednesday through May 2024.

What Parents Say About Pixie Palace

“I had Ruby try Pixie Palace after encouragement by you and your staff to do a trial class despite her younger age. Her first class went well so we have continued with the program. Ruby talks about Miss Jessie and Miss Erin and looks forward to fine arts every week. She talks about doing yoga and seeing her friends. She brings home crafts which we are able to display and discuss the concepts involved. Pixie Palace has been a very enriching opportunity for Ruby and has facilitated quality time with peers, working on listening skills and reinforcing the importance of crafts and physical activity. Ruby will be starting preschool this fall but I hope to be able for her to continue Pixie Palace as it has been such a positive experience for our family. Thank you Ms. Michele, Miss Jessie and Miss Erin!” - Alexandra Wilson

“The Pixie Palace is like nothing else we’ve attended. My child has thrived here when she has not in other settings. I love this preschool class is dance and movement oriented while also learning at the same time! This is exactly what my child needs! Other settings were too strict or too much sitting and she was having a hard time. The children are still in an educational environment at the Pixie Palace while also gaining social skills, taking turns, listening to instructions, and how to behave with another authority figure than their parents. I honestly feel the teachers adore these children with their whole hearts and love them as their parents do! I didn’t expect this class to have such an impact on my child, as it has. I can’t wait for her to do this again next year!” - Amanda Tison

Meet Our Teachers

Miss Jessie: My name is Jessica Johnson I live in Westfield with my husband Jesse and 2 kids , Parker (11) and Ivy (8). I began my dance journey when I was 6 years old at Tippy Toes School of Dance, I danced there until I was 19 years old. During that time I started teaching preschool classes which grew my passion for working with children and dancing. After I graduated I worked as an Instructional Assistant for special education (k-3) at Warren Township schools. After I had my son I knew I wanted to work with kids and still be able to be with my son so I started working at Dolce Daycare and Preschool, this gave me a lot of insight and knowledge on working with all ages of children. I was a stay at home mom for a short period of time and realized I really missed dancing , that’s when I found The Pink Slipper! This will be my 9th year teaching at The Pink Slipper! I am also certified in the Studio Fine Arts Club High Impact Teacher Certification Program focusing on Early Childhood Fundamentals, I can’t wait to launch this program and meet so many new friends!

Miss Erin: I started dancing when I was 4 years old at the Peru Ballet of Arts in Peru, IN. I have 14 years of dance experience in ballet, lyrical and jazz.

I graduated from the Kelley School of Business at IUPUI with a major in Business and Marketing. I am also certified in the Studio Fine Arts Club (SFAC) for our High Impact Teacher Certification Program focusing on Early Childhood Fundamentals.

I currently am a stay at home mom of two girls, Graycelynn 4 and Adalynn 3, who love to play and learn. Both girls dance at the Pink Slipper and are heading into their third year.

I have recently joined the Pink Slipper family and am super excited for this new journey.
